Sectors
Pre-Packers & Multiple
Suppliers
Freshware became a standard within the Fresh Produce Industry
within a very short time, and as the Industry moved towards
supplying the multiples, more and more products were pre-packed
into customer specific packaging. This facilitated the need
for a repackaging/production process, which allows a consignment
of raw product to be repacked/sorted into another variation
of product. The system offers full costing and yields analysis
and integrates with the following modules.

In addition the system operates in conjunction
with the storage module offer the third party packers
and storage companies to fully computerise the
stocks and provide better information for their
customers and automate all of their invoicing procedures.
Importers
The originating Freshware system was first used by Importers
to trace incoming consignments and produce accurate lot profitability.
Traditionally these importers were distributing to the Wholesale
markets although the industry has swung heavily to supplying
Multiples and catering supply companies. The key benefits
for an importer is that the system can trace the consignment
throughout its life whether the stock is packed and sold
to a Multiple on a fixed price or distributed. Features include:

Wholesalers/Secondary
Wholesalers
With AFFINITUS Freshware being used through the trade by
the Importers, it was inevitable that the wholesale traders
knew the benefits of the system. The Freshware system offers
consignment tracking with the facility to produce account
sales and daily sender returns. The Wholesale system incorporates
cash and credit sales with full daily cash reconciliation.
Third
Party Distribution
Companies with the industry, who are purely distribution
companies, use Freshware to control the customers stocks
and provide their customers with better information. In addition
the system automates all of the invoicing procedures which
are often complex calculations based on complicated rate
tables.
